I want to see people try and remake this one

Ok Go owes their career to the internet. Their first video A Million Ways sky rocketed them to stardom. But you didn't need me to tell you that. We have all see the video on Youtube. Then they out did themselves on treadmills. You knew that too though.

But where were they going to go from there. It almost seems as if they have set the bar too high but if they do make it over on this third jump we will all grovel and call them rock video gods. Well they remade an older video and cleared almost flawlessly.

Their new video Do What You Want is out and it rocks. They drop the camera angles and cover everything in the ugly backgroud wallpapers. Yes everything is covered in the same ugly wall paper pattern (Remind you of a scene in Garden State). There are hula-hoopers, pogo flippers and breakdancers all covered in the same desgin. When the camera cuts to the band, their movements are choppy like stop-action or their musical style but it fits.

I can't explain it but this video was the perfect transition from Here It Goes Again. It pleases and shows creativity without the forced effort of trying to out do themselves.

Ok Go "Do What You Want"

Interesting Fact: They were doing dance videos long before the Youtube hit. Everyone else just jumped on the band wagon a little late (C-C-C-Cinammon Lips video).
